Our B&B guests enjoy a full hot breakfast every morning between 7 and 10:00 am. here is a sample of one of our specialties, French Toast á la Morrie, it looks just as good as it tastes.  We also offer continental items at our buffet for those guests who wish a "lighter" breakfast or for the hearty eaters, who enjoy our Blue Plate special and our freshly baked muffins, breads, fruit, cereal or yogurt choices on the  buffet, too.

Alice's Room  and La Chambre des Chats (Chats) are our two basic guestrooms that offer reasonable accommodations with all the same amenities of breakfast, free wi-fi,   with a shared hall bath and full size bed.   La Chambre des Chats also has off-street parking guaranteed; Alice's room has only on-street parking, unless one of the other guestrooms is not using the off-street parking space alotted to them.

Our newly rehabbed Walnut room is perfect for the single traveler who wishes a private en-suite bath and has a twin xl walnut Victorian bed, on-street parking only with permit provided by innkeeper.  Das Porzellanzimmer offers deluxe amenities with a queen bed and has a private hall bath and includes free off-street parking.  Our new, Eastlake room has a full xl bed with private en-suite bath with a beautiful Victorian Eastlake walnut bed, mirror and dresser; parking is on-street only with permit provided by innkeeper.  The King room is our only room with a king bed, and sports a new jacuzzi/shower bath en-suite - this room comes with the luxury of guaranteed garage parking (for standard size vehicles) and a lovely streetscape of the neighborhood.   And finally, our Alcova is great for families of up to 5 or a secret rendezvous away for parents sans enfants in our most spacious and secluded guestroom with bath en-suite and also comes with off-street parking.  This is the only room at the inn available for children under the age of 10. All children are to be counted as guests when booking, even infants; please notify us in advance if you need a crib and the ages of any children under 12.

Check-ins are by appointment and you should arrive no later than 9 pm daily.  We try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible, however, during the summer, we love the Millennium Park concerts and so most Wednesdays and some Fridays or Saturdays you will be asked to check in before 4 pm.   Please plan your schedule accordingly.  Guests, who do not notify of us of an eta at least 48 hours prior to arrival may not have their first choice of check-in time accommodated.   If you are delayed for any reason, please let us know so we can readjust our schedule for the day.

Check-out is before 11 am daily.  We can hold luggage for you to pick up later; but you must leave your guestroom before 11:00 am.   We appreciate your promptness in dropping off keys and remotes prior to 11:00 am.
