From garden respites at both buildings to cozy sitting rooms and just a short bus ride to the lake front and beaches, the House of Two Urns is an excellent Chicago hotel alternative. We offer free parking, free wi-fi, fully equipped guest kitchens with coffee/tea service, free laundry, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, spa robes, slippers, eco-friendly shampoo and conditioner, soap and other incidental toiletries. A full breakfast is served daily from 7-10 am with a Chef's Choice entree and a side buffet for lite eaters. We offer an "Early Bird" bag-to-go for those guests leaving before 7 am and if you are out late and want to sleep in, a "Night Owl" basket left after 10:30 am. We sell CTA visitor passes on-site, too.
Our main inn garden is a virtual "farm in the city" with apricot and pear trees, black raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, currants, gooseberries, blueberries and rhubarb that we turn into artisan jams that you will find each morning on the buffet. We also make a wonderful banana butter that we sell in our gift shop. During the summer we serve many of our fresh berries, fruits, herbs, tomatoes and greens from our organic garden making our "farm to table" breakfasts even healthier and oh so fresh!
