  • A HEARTY FULL BREAKFAST is served from 8 - 9:30 am daily; we offer a hot entree (savory or sweet); a side of breakfast meat if not in the dish itself; a fruit salad or compote; freshly baked muffins; dry cereals, homemade granola, instant oatmeal; breakfast breads to toast and yogurt.  We can accommodate guests from 7- 8 am with advance notice the night before; we try to accommodate all special dietary allergies that guests might have.  We generally have a cholesterol-free egg substitute available and can do some gluten-free breakfast specials.  Advance notices is the best policy, just let us know at check-in about any special dietary needs you might have.  Most of our dishes are vegetarian, with a breakfast meat on the side, but please let us know if you are vegetarian or vegan and we can plan our menus accordingly during your stay.  We are not always aware of everyone's uniquely special needs, so the more you can clarify for us at check-in or before we serve breakfast, the better for you.  We understand that everyone has their own personal preferences and will try to accommodate them, but may serve a dish with bananas or some other commonly consumed food.  If you are not a banana eater, just ask us to leave them off the dish in question.
  • An EARLY BIRD breakfast-in-a-bag (muffin, banana and orange juice) is available for guests leaving before 7 am when requested the day before;

TRAVEL AND MUSEUM PASSES

CTA VISITOR PASSES
We sell the CTA Visitor Passes for 1, 2, 3 or 5 days.  Visitor passes are good for all CTA trains and buses and give you unlimited rides from the first time you use the pass.  Rates are as follows and payment is in cash or traveler's checks only.
1 day   $    5.00
2 days  $   9.00
3 days  $  12.00
5 days  $  18.00

Passes are also available for purchase at both airports or Union Station, but are not found in regular CTA train stations. At subway stations you can purchase debit cards that are good for up to 7 people to use at one time and can be replenished when the money runs out at any subway station and are good for all CTA trains and buses. The rates are higher with the use of these debit cards.  Currency exchanges sell 7 day and 30 day passes.   We highly recommend purchasing one of the Visitor Passes as they are an excellent way to travel for less.

MUSEUMS
All museums offer free admission at least part of the year, they have gotten pretty sneaky about when they offer these days, so you should best check each museum's website for these ever-changing practices.  We also offer some passes or discount tickets to museums that may vary throughout the season.

You may also check into a discounted pass for 6 major museums/attractions at www.citypass.net where you can pre-purchase a pass for participating organizations.  These are also available for purchase at the door of any participating organizations and are valid for 9 days from the date of first use.

Half-price theatre tickets are available through HotTix on the day of the show at 2 sites downtown at the Chicago Cultural Center or the WaterTower Visitor's Center.
1-900-225-2225 for a list of the shows.
1/312/977-1755 for hours and locations of HotTix Centers.
